Player Opinion
Pros:
- 460 mm (18.1") guns are capable of penetrating the bow armor of almost every ship in the game at any range due to overmatch mechanics.
- Excellent 55% torpedo damage reduction.
- Large HP pool.
- Strong, reliable armor when angled properly against enemy ships.
- Better rudder shift time than her sister, Yamato.
Cons:
- Extremely weak AA suite.
- Large turning circle radius, slow rudder shift, and low top speed.
- Tall flat sides make her vulnerable to citadels from broadside targets.
- Noticeably worse accuracy than Yamato due to worse sigma.
- Only comes with 2 charges of the Repair Partyconsumable, instead of the standard 3
