Le M53/M55 est un canon AM Américain de rang 9.

Canon automoteur sur un châssis modifié du char moyen M47. Le prototype a été produit en 1952, et en 1956 le canon automoteur est entré en service dans deux variantes : le M55 pour l'Armée, et le M53 pour les Marines.

Le M53/M55 mène au au T92 HMC.
