El carro medio T-34-3 iba a ser una modificación del T-34-2. Al contrario que el Type 59, el T-34-3 presentaba un blindaje reducido y un cañón de 122 mm. El diseño se inició en 1957. Sin embargo, la producción en masa del Type 59 comenzó en 1958, y se abandonó el proyecto del T-34-3.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

• Best 390 alpha damage gun on a tier 8 medium
• Great soft stats for gun dispersion - good brawler
• Tough, rounded turret
• Decent mobility, good terrain resistance, excellent traverse
• Preferential matchmaking (tier 9 max, no tier 10 battles)

Cons:

• Abysmal gun depression
• Poor aim time and accuracy making mid-long range engagements difficult
• Slow to accelerate, sluggish
• Very expensive for a tier 8 premium medium
• Long reload, DPM is on the lower end of tier 8 mediums

Performance

The T-34-3 plays unlike medium tanks of any other nation. T-44 equipped with 122mm gun comes close. The 390 average damage of 122mm is amazing for a tier 8 medium, and it's better than some heavies or tank destroyers on same tier get. High alpha gives this tank very good damage potential. Penetration is similar than other medium tanks get and mobility allows you to flank and get to sides of heavy tanks. Unfortunately accuracy of the Chinese gun is even lower than similar Soviet guns.
