The Birch Gun is a British tier 4 self-propelled gun.

W latach dwudziestych brytyjscy inżynierowie badali możliwość umieszczenia działa samobieżnego na podwoziu czołgu. Prace nad tym pojazdem rozpoczęły się w roku 1923 w Arsenale Królewskim w Woolwich. Powstał on na bazie czołgu Vickers Medium Mark II, którego podwozie mogło unieść wymagane moduły. W latach 1926-27 wyprodukowano siedem prototypów, które włączono do Eksperymentalnych Sił Zmechanizowanych utworzonych 1 maja 1927 roku. Później rozwiązano tę jednostkę i porzucono program dział samobieżnych.

The Birch Gun marks the end of its British self-propelled gun line.
