The Tortoise is a British tier 9 tank destroyer.

Prace nad tym czołgiem szturmowym rozpoczęły się w Wielkiej Brytanii w roku 1942. Projekt ukończono w lutym 1944 roku, a złożone zamówienie opiewało na 25 maszyn. Jednak do jesieni roku 1947 wyprodukowano zaledwie pięć egzemplarzy.
