Maps (WoWP)

Maps are the battlefields on which the planes fight on. There are many different maps, of which some are only unlocked as you go higher in the tiers. They vary greatly in play style. Some maps are mountainous, some are mostly open stretches of water, and some are a mixture of both.

There are currently 13 maps that can be played on. Each map has multiple layouts which differ in the type, location, and number of sectors. It may also have a layout for game modes other than Conquest.

Adriatic

This map is reminiscent of the Monte Cassino in Italy, with beautiful mountains towering over the abbey and town, stretching out to the sea.

Canyon

Dam

The Hoover Dam on the Colorado River, bordering Nevada and Arizona. The canyon has been removed so as not to complicate gameplay

Eastern Front

This map is set in the city of Stalingrad when german forces were attempting to over-run the city. On the map you can see tracer fire being exchanged between ruined buildings as an indication of the fighting below.

El Halluf

A desert region traversed with lakes and mountain rivers. The battle unfolds for an air base on the one side and a fuel depot on the other side. It is possible to see 3 World of Tanks game maps in El Halluf. The map "Airfield" can be seen at the southern base of the map, while the map "El Halluf" can be seen in the F6 area and "Sand River" is visible at G3.

Harbor

6.3 x 6.3 km

Harbor offers a battle for a seaport and an adjacent city. The defending team attempts to prevent the enemy from seizing strategic locations in the dockyard and from entering the city. The attacking team, supported by robust naval gunfire, aims to expand its foothold for launching a ground offensive.

Hidden Airbase

Based in the Arctic polar region, Hidden Airbase takes pilots across a secret military facility and through glacier pathways

Lighthouse

It is possible to see 2 maps from World of Tanks on Lighthouse. "Fisherman's Bay" is visible in the H2 area of the map, and "Cliff" is visible in the H3 area of the map.

National Park

Yosemite National Park, California, USA. 7.2 x 7.2 km

National Park offers picturesque granite plateaus and deep canyons. The advancement of the frontlines has been halted by complex terrain. Air superiority is the key to seizing the high ground and advancing along the riverbed in the center of the valley.
