Pros and Cons

Pros:

• Very good armor for its tier, albeit not as strong as the KV-1
• Largest hot pool of tier V, same as the British Churchill I
• Preforms like a Churchill I, but with less vulnerable tracks.
• Tier IV QF 6-pounder has a very high rate of fire (can be transformed into something of a machine-cannon with 1.9 seconds wit
• More resilient hull armour than the Churchill I

Cons:

• Fairly slow, vulnerable to flanking by faster tanks.
• Turret is easily penetrated (88mm unsloped, 76mm in the middle where the cannon is. Cromwell and Comet with stock turret shar
• Seems somewhat vulnerable to gunner injury.
• Sacrifices damage per shot for rate of fire
• Fires faster than it can aim completely

Performance

Following the doctrine of Infantry tanks, the Churchill III has a low top speed due, to the fact that it is supposed to support the infantry, hull and turret traverse rate are also slow. However, the QF 6-pounder has such a high rate of fire that it fores faster than the gunner can aim the cannon. In close combat, it is best to corner the enemy as the enemy may be able to flank the Churchill III, and then the enemy can be punctured to death with the 6-pounder.
