Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Insane climbing ability, hardly loses any speed in a vertical climb under powerful boost.
- Same top armament as Bf-109 Z, guns are better positioned to boot.
- Can use spammable anti-aircraft missiles.
Cons:
- Stock configuration renders it almost useless.
- Less agile than Bf-109 Z, also shares the same problem with its armament, slow velocity.
- Huge grind for the R4M missiles, most expensive module to research at nearly 32K XP.
- R4M missiles do poor damage per hit. (WGr 21 does twelve times as much damage per hit.)
- Easily damaged engines and lowest survivability among tier 8 heavy fighters (though skills and upgrades can remedy this)
Early Research
It is heavily recommended to research the airframe first to double its armament, then go for the R4M for added lethality against aircraft, followed by the engines.
