Le Type 98 Ke-Ni est un char léger Japonais de rang 3.
Une autre modification du Ha-Go développé par Hino Jidosha Kogyo. Malgré les caractéristiques dynamiques améliorées, le char n'a pas remplacé le Ha-Go. Environ 100 chars ont été fabriqués par Mitsubishi et Hino.
Le Type 98 Ke-Ni marque la fin de la branche des légers Japonais.
