Player Opinion
Performance
Similar to it's predecessor, the late model's best asset is it's incredible roll rate and maneuverability. It starts to show it's age against more modern opponents like the BF109 or A6M, and can feel undergunned against a solid foe like the F2A or BF110, but in the right hands it can still dish out the damage. The hitpoints are on the low side and there is not much in the way of armor, so be cautious approaching a rear-gun equipped enemy. The 20mm cannons add significant firepower at the cost of fire rate and have the added disadvantage of overheating very rapidly, so depending on playstyle it may be preferable to use the fast firing machine guns. Overall still a great aircraft, use your maneuverability to get in close and make those shots count.
