Player Opinion

Pros and Cons

Pros:


  • Deceptively agile, can almost turn on a dime, rivaling Japanese aircraft
  • Bombs give it a good mix of armament and flexibility
  • Decent top engine characteristics


Cons:


  • Poor stock gun armament, top gun armament still may leave much to be desired
  • Mediocre service ceiling
  • No flaps, the turn time you see is what you get


Performance

This plane is the start of one of two U.S. Multirole fighter lines. It is not the best representation of all of them. Being in the middle of the road in terms of speed, mediocre service ceiling, lackluster firepower but surprising maneuverability, this plane is an interesting mix for a U.S. aircraft. With it's 100 lb bombs and it's 12.7 mm cannon (once both unlocked) it can be very deadly in the right hands.
