Player Opinion

Pros and Cons

Pros:

This plane has very powerful guns. It can take out most targets at its tier with only two or three hits, though heavy targets may take longer.

Cons:

This plane has poor maneuverability, and lacking airspeed. While these characteristics can be improved with equipment, the resulting stats will still be no match for planes specializing in those areas.

Performance

The I-215 has a cockpit slot, two airframe slots, one engine slot, and one gun slot. As this plane excels at nothing except firepower, there are a number of different builds one can pursue. While sight is definitely preferred, one can use either long gun barrels for a sniper build, or gas-operated action for brawling. A survivability build is not recommended as there is no way to escape enemy fire with lackluster aerodynamical performance, so survivability equipment should be complementary at best. One can then go for a speed (polished skin, uprated engine or one of the boost equipments), or a turn (light wing frame, lightweight power unit) build.
