Jean Bart — French special premium Tier IX battleship.
Jean Bart, the second Richelieu-class battleship, was launched after the outbreak of World War II. To prevent her from being captured by the enemy, the unfinished ship was taken to Casablanca, where construction continued. During the Allied landings in Casablanca, Jean Bart put up resistance and was heavily damaged by battleship Massachusetts. The construction of the ship was completed only after the war.

Player Opinion
Pros:
- All-forward main battery arrangement provides decent firepower while angling or bow-tanking.
- Decent reload time, can be reduced to less than 20 seconds with the right build.
- High penetration and fast shell travel times.
- Best main battery range in its tier.
- Potent secondaries and AA guns.
- A unique and powerful consumable loadout greatly boost her flanking potential.
- Surprisingly maneuverable for its size.
Cons:
- Frustrating dispersion values at long range.
- Primary and secondary armaments are concentrated at either end of the hull, which makes her vulnerable when retreating or being flanked by an enemy ship.
- Loses half its firepower if a turret is incapacitated.
- Does not gain access to aircraft consumables.
- Second lowest health pool in its tier, tied with Alsace.
- Relatively poor detection ranges.
- Same armour profile as Richelieu a tier lower, takes a large amount of damage from AP penetrations and HE.
- Many of its secondaries are grouped around the superstructure, easily incapacitated by HE shells.
