The development of the 112 tank started in 1962. The project was to feature parts and components of medium and heavy tanks. Existed only in blueprints. The 113 tank was a further development of the 112.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

• Good alpha damage
• Extremely tough upper hull plate, effectively more than 260 mm thick, with a near invincible turret, no shoulder plates
• Few weak spots beyond lower plate, and cupolas are small and relatively hard to hit
• Good straight line speed, can keep up with some medium tanks, and terrain resistance makes up for lower engine power
• Preferential matchmaking (tier 9 max, no tier 10 battles)

Cons:

• Shoots rather slowly, considering the IS-2 has the same gun, is a tier lower and shoots faster
• Thinner side armor than the IS-6 (although it's sloped and spaced)
• Very weak lower front plate is easily penetrated, and often set on fire as well
• Poor accuracy, terrible aim time, typical of Russian 122mm guns and their derivatives

Performance

The 112 plays much like a highly exaggerated IS-6, with even stronger strengths and even weaker weak points. It trades 20mm of side armor for an additional 20mm on its front, still heavily angled, giving it an effective armor of more than 260 mm at the front. The turret is also extremely thick and very well sloped, capable of shrugging off shots from even tier X guns. However, the lower glacis is much weaker, capable of being pierced by practically anything that it will face.
