Hatsuharu — Japanese Tier VI destroyer.
Hatsuharu was a high performance ship despite displacement limitations imposed by the London Naval Treaty of 1930. The ship boasted a comparatively good AA defense. The powerful main battery guns were placed in enclosed turret mounts and could deliver anti-aircraft fire.

Player Opinion
Performance
In general, the Hatsuharu is a destroyer that is torpedo-centric with slightly upgraded guns from the Minekaze The Hatsuharu features 2 torpedo launchers of 3 torpedo tubes each instead of the three torpedo launchers of two from the Minekaze, features a worse detection range, and is slightly slower. The things Hatsuharu can boast over the Minekaze is upgraded ten kilometer torpedoes and improved guns. The Hatsuharu features two turrets with two guns a piece. The guns themselves have a faster rate of fire, better archs, and a higher traverse rate. Although the guns are improved, this by no means that the Hatsuharu is able to best a Farragut or Ognevoi in a gunfight. The guns are able to defend the Hatsuharu from overagressive ships that aren't paying attention.
Pros:
- Improved guns gain significantly increased fate of fire, range, and archs.
- Low detection range.
- Decent torpedo speed makes the torpedoes harder to dodge.
- Good torpedo launch arc, doesn't need to turn much to launch torpedoes.
Cons:
Research
Reasearch the Hull first to get to the torpedoes. After getting the torpedoes, unlock the fire control system.

Camouflage
Type 1, 2, or 5 camouflage can be equipped for credits; Types 1 or 5 are recommended at a minimum to reduce detectibility range.
Players who wish to spend doubloons can equip Hatsuharu with Type 17 camouflage that lowers her detection radius, reduces the accuracy of incoming shells, reduces her repair costs, and increases the amount of experience she earns.Gallery
