Isokaze — Japanese Tier IV destroyer.

Un desarrollo posterior de la clase Umikaze. Al contrario que su predecesor, el Isokaze tenía mayor desplazamiento y armamento de torpedo mejorado. La artillería del barco, aunque bastante potente, poseía una cadencia de tiro baja, típica de todos los destructores japoneses.

Pros:

Better turret rotation than Wakatake but still not great
Powerful and fast upgraded torpedoes
High maneuverability

Cons:

Low rate of fire with its main guns
Steering and engine can be taken out very quickly multiple times
Loses much speed during any type of turn

Research

Research progression is dependent on personal playstyle.
Upgrade to the B hull first as it increases hit points by 1,300, adds 1 main turret, and decreases rudder shift time by 1.3s.

For players who prefer a torpedo-based playstyle, upgrade the torpedoes next. The torpedo upgrade gives the torpedoes more damage in exchange for a slightly longer cooldown.
For players who prefer a gunboat-based playstyle, go for the Gun Fire Control System upgrade next. The range upgrade gives the guns an additional 0.8km firing range.
