The gun traverse range is very impressive, meaning very little hull traverse will be needed. That's quite important as the gun's accuracy is very bad. You will miss quite a lot of shots, thanks to the aforementioned accuracy coupled with a slow aim time and big recticle bloom. Also, self-defense will be difficult. The large profile won't hide you very much, your low hp doesn't help, and the slow traversing will be the cherry on the dead tank sundae. This brings us to the point: The T1 HMC is best described as bad, but it does have a little bit going for it.

The T1 HMC is an American tier 2 self-propelled gun.

The T1 Howitzer Motor Carriage was created in the fall of 1930 on the T2 chassis. The design incorporated components of the T1 Cunningham. Due to the Great Depression, all work on the project was discontinued at the prototype stage.

The T1 HMC marks the end of its American self-propelled gun line.

Pros:


  • Immense Gun traverse range
  • Magnificent gun range, can shoot from corner to corner, comparable to tier 4 SPG's

  • Ridiculously bad fully-aimed accuracy, coupled with large recticle bloom and slow aim time. Expect to miss plenty of shots.
  • Gun traverse speed is pretty slow, roughly on par for it's tier
  • Hull traverse is bad, but sets the tone for the rest of the American SPG line.
  • Large profile makes it easy to hit.
