The 14TP is a Polish tier 4 light tank.
This vehicle was to be a further development of the 10TP cruiser tank. The 14TP was also supposed to feature the Christie suspension. However, the project involved the caterpillar propulsion system only. Development of the 14TP started in 1938. The first prototype was to be produced by March 1939, but development was significantly delayed, because there was no appropriate engine. A prototype was never built, as Germany invaded Poland in September 1939.
The 14TP leads to the DS PZInż, and the 25TP KSUST II.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Better mobility compared to its predecesor, 10TP
- Good damage
- Good accuracy
Cons:
- Stock gun barely penetrates anything in this tier, and you have to use it for grinding turret and other guns
- Ineffective top gun penetration, had hard time to fight heavy armored tanks
- Although has faster reload speed than 10TP, still relatively low DPM
- Worse gun depression than 10TP (-8)
- Paper thin armor is very vulnerable to howitzers which are commonly found in its tier
Performance
The 14TP is a difficult tank to play, and sluggish to maneuver. Your best bet when you are not top tier is to passive scout for your allies. It does have a autogun, but with anemic penetration, and a slow rate of fire. The HE on all but the top gun is also weak.
Early Research
It is advised to just buy Coil Springs instead of better tracks so you can grind to the top gun asap, before anything else. Nothing carries over to the next tank.

Historical Info
Thanks to getting rid of a complicated driving wheels, some weight and space could be saved. It made in turn possible increasing armour thickness.
The design of this model was ready by the beginning of 1938. The Workshop started works upon a prototype, and by the end of 1938 some ~60% of parts were ready. Completing of the prototype was scheduled on March 1939, but unfortunately, further work was halted by a lack of a proper engine. A fate of an unfinnished prototype is not known - no known photos have survived to the present day.
