The 45TP Habicha is a Polish tier 7 heavy tank.
A proposed project for a heavy tank. This vehicle was supposed to be a further development of the Habich medium tank. The hull was to feature thicker sloped armor plates and involved equipping a more powerful gun. However, a prototype was never built.
The 45TP Habicha leads to the 53TP Markowskiego.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Nice top gun, good alpha damage and decent accuracy
- Good mobility for a heavy tank, also smaller than some other heavies
- Quite thick turret and sloped
- Good gun depression (-8°)
- Above average stock gun
Cons:
- Overall the armor is too weak for a heavy tank
- Big cupola on the turret and roof can be easy penetrated if it is not angled
- Very slow turret transverse on last turret
- Abysmal view range and radio range
- Lighter than some other heavies, leaving it more vulnerable to ramming
Performance
This is the first Polish heavy tank on the tech tree, so you have to move your previous crew with a big penalty. 45TP is like the VK 45.02 (P) Ausf. A, between a heavy and medium tank.
If you are top tier on the match making it´s better to play like a heavy tank, but keep in mind that the armor doesn´t work well on side scraping: side armor is really thin (50 mm), hull armor and roof turret are easy points to be penetrated.
If you are mid tier or bottom tier it´s better to play like a medium tank using the strong point of this tank: hull down position. With -8° of gun depression, good alpha dmg, decent accuracy and the shape of the turret if it´s played correctly it could be really frustrating for your enemies defeat you.
Early Research
- The stock suspension can mount all the upgraded modules, so firstly research the turret to be able to mount top gun
- Take the top gun
- Reserch the upgraded engine
- Then research the upgraded suspension for a better traverse speed and terrain resistence
- Mount the upgraded radio
