The ELC EVEN 90 is a French tier 8 premium light tank.
A series of vehicles developed by BRUNON-VALETTE under the ELC program in the late 1950s. The goal was to create a light aeromobile tank for fire support purposes. The vehicle had small dimensions and high maneuverability. A total of 10 pilot vehicles with different types of armament were produced. They underwent trials, but the vehicle never entered mass production.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Absolutely excellent camouflage overall, absolutely ludicrous with skills and Low-Noise-Exhaust
- Comically small, hard to hit at range and can make use of most bushes and hard cover
- Good gun elevation and depression for an autoloader
- Good top speed, but poor engine power, somewhat compensated by ground resistances
- Like some other light tanks, is excellent at being bait
Cons:
- Horrible DPM, very poor gun handling, aim time and shell velocity
- Low burst damage with an average of 660 alpha per magazine
- Lowest hitpoint pool for a Tier 8 tank
- No real armor and very light weight, vulnerable to ramming and all types of shells
- Can easily lose control and flip when moving on uneven terrain
Performance
This tank is arguably the purest scout in the game. When equipped with Low noise exhaust (LNE) and a camo-trained crew it can sit in a bush and remain undetected until the enemy accidentally rams it. Even when moving, it will only be spotted at close range. When played cautiously, it can be very effective. However, all care must be taken not to reveal its location. It lacks the armour to bounce any incoming fire and is extremely vulnerable to HE shells exploding nearby. It also has limited mobility as a result of its underpowered engine, which makes it difficult to reach high speeds or maintain speed when moving through rough terrain. Its tiny profile will sometimes allow you to dodge shells, but this tank is far from an armored car like the EBR, and it's mostly pure luck if an enemy misses, so staying hidden should always be top priority. When played cautiously, this can be a rewarding, though unforgiving tank, but it is not suitable for inexperienced players. The ELC EVEN 90 lacks reliable self defense, as its 90mm has very poor shell velocity, an abysmal reload time in addition to very bad aim time and gun handling.
The addition of Field Modifications is a significant benefit to this tank, as with 2 equipment setups, it can use Vertical Stabilizer on unfavorable maps for spotting, and use regular spotting setups on spotting maps.

Documented Tank and Crew Builds
Maximum camouflage on all crew members. Beyond that, the build should focus on increasing view range and mobility.

Historical Accuracy Errata
The ELC EVEN 90 only had a crew of two, the commander (who also served as gunner and loader) and the driver. There is no room in the turret for a second person.
