The Panhard EBR 105 is a French tier 10 light tank.
A variant of the Panhard EBR armored vehicle with more powerful armament. It featured improved suspension and the two-man GIAT TS 90 turret, upgraded to accommodate a 105 mm gun. The vehicle never saw mass production, nor entered service.
Currently the fastest vehicle in World of Tanks. The Panhard EBR 105 features insane mobility that surpasses any tanks that were ever added in the game, with a whopping speed of 91km/h in rapid mode. In the Common Test when the wheeled vehicles were unveiled, the EBR 105 had been able to achieve more than 100 km/h (105 km/h was the listed top speed)! Although its penetration and protection are underwhelming it can utilize its mobility to harass its targets and bring them down one by one.
The Panhard EBR 105 marks the end of its French light line.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Highest top speed in the game (91km/h in rapid mode), its top speed in normal mode is also very fast as well (70km/h)
- Wheeled vehicle: very high reverse speed, and requires hitting 5 out of 8 wheels or disabling its engine to force the vehicle to stop.
- APCR provides very high shell velocity (1300m/s), allowing it to hit moving targets with ease
- Insane turret traverse speed and very low aim time, combined with "special target locking", means it can snap shot very effectively
- Excellent Camouflage values, great gun handling,
Cons:
- Very low HP, bad armor, priority target
- Worst pen for a WV (wheeled vehicle) tier for tier
- Wheeled vehicle -- cannot rotate the hull while stationary, and when any wheel(s) are damaged its speed deteriorates significantly
- Low ammo capacity (36 rounds)
- Least useful HE of any WV (due to 75 being standard across the branch after 1.13)
- Poor DPM due to relatively long reload time (12 seconds)
- Extremely low view range, very low weight, high chance of fire
Performance
Like its 90mm armed predecessor, it functions mainly as a combination of a passive tank and a blisteringly fast tide turning vehicle when the time is right.
As with the EBR 90, it sports a very well handling gun with very high HE penetration - combined with its other characteristics make it a very good "anti-scout". The main difference between the EBR 90 and 105 is the further improved mobility and larger cannon - a very high 91 top speed makes it the fastest vehicle currently in game, and when combined with very good acceleration, obscene turning capabilities (in cruise mode) is the overall most mobile tank in the game. The addition of a 105mm with 390 alpha instead of 240 with a 90 is also a big change - it can outtrade a few light tanks and with HE may occasionally oneshot enemy SPGs. As before, the value of the EBR 105 increases the later the stage of the round - the teams are less organized, providing more chances to change the game with very good mobility.
However, it shares mostly the same weaknesses as its predecessor - it still has a very poor 340m view range, very low penetration (worse overall than the EBR 90 due to the obscene armor at tier X), very low armor and hitpoints. On launch, the EBR 105 was insane - 95 km/h, absolutely absurd gun handling and more view range absolutely annihilated other light tanks; however, it has since been nerfed (in update 1.10) to have worse mobility, gun handling, view range and higher chance of fire - although these changes did not impact it much, players have become more used to it - although the EBR has quite a controversial reputation, be very wary if using it - skilled players can land their shots well, and will annihilate them if in a vehicle such as the Leopard 1/Obj 140/TVP T 50/51 or any tank with fast shells and good handling.
Overall the EBR 105 is very good when played properly, and is overall the source of light tanks becoming mostly obsolete - however, play it carefully, as tanks at Tier X have more than enough shell velocity and gun handling to hit the EBR reliably.
- The EBR 105 has been nerfed twice, in 1.10 and 1.13:
1.10: Gun handling from 0.06/0.06/0.03 -> 0.08/0.08/0.04 Aim time from 1.2 -> 1.4 View range from 350 -> 340 Top speed in Rapid Mode from 95/70 -> 91/65 Engine power from 750 -> 720 (pw/t from 44.12 -> 42.35) Chance of fire from 10% -> 15%
1.13: Gun handling from 0.08/0.08/0.04 -> 0.09/0.09/0.05 HE pen from 105 -> 75
- A common belief is that the EBRs absorb shells with the wheels. Contrary to this, what happens is shells often disperse into the lower half of the wheels due to RNG - these halves are not connected to the hull hitbox, and thus only damage the wheels.

Historical Accuracy Errata
The Panhard EBR 105 is an unhistorical configuration of the Panhard EBR with a modified ERC 90 Sagaie retrofitted turret, recognizable with the yellow warning sticker for the laser rangefinder and the boxy gunner sight offering both day and night vision. The ERC is armed with a 90 mm gun firing APFSDS and HEAT. France started mass-producing the ERC 90 in the mid 70s, and has recently retired them from active service (although they are still used for training purposes), having replaced them with AMX 10 RCR wheeled reconnaissance tanks.
- HEAT is actually the standard ammunition of the 105 mm D. 1504 gun. Other ammunition types were smoke, HE and APFSDS. The APCR round is fake.
- The 105 mm D. 1504 is the same gun on the M4A1 Revalorisé, AMX 13 105 and Bat.-Châtillon 25 t, yet the penetration and weight values are inconsistent.
- 105mm gun was never mounted on Panhard EBR
- Turret of this vehicle is from Panhard ERC, but ERC wasn't use 105mm too.
