The 25TP KSUST II is a Polish tier 5 medium tank.
Development of a medium tank (working designation 20/25TP) started in Poland in January 1937. The Armament and Technical Equipment Committee of the Polish Ministry of Military Affairs (KSUST, as abbreviated in Polish) suggested two versions of the vehicle. The second version featured 50 mm armor and an improved power unit. Existed only in blueprints.
The 25TP KSUST II leads to the 40TP Habicha.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Very mobile with the upgraded engine
- Reliable final gun, superior to most 75mm guns of its tier
- Good gun-depression
Cons:
- HUGE profile for a medium tank
- Worthless hull armor, makes its huge size a liability
- Stock grind is atrocious
Performance
Essentially the 25TP is what would happen if you took a T-28 and fitted it with a powerful 75mm gun. The elongated hull and the two machinegun turrets at the front are enough cues for any player to adopt the same playstyle as the T-28. With the upgraded engine it is very mobile and can flank easily. This is also one of the downsides of this tank as rushing to a hotspot in the map guarantees it'll be one of the first tanks to be shot at (and destroyed). The other downside is the non-existent hull armor. Like the T-28 the 25TP's hull armor is below acceptable even for a medium tank and its size makes it a juicy target. Tanks like the VK 16.02 Leopard with the 3cm autocannon will have a field day shredding the hull at any spot as it offers very little protection. It goes without saying that artillery and high-calibre HE rounds will often one-shot kill the 25TP with a direct hit if not leave it with multiple damaged modules and injured crewmen. As such exceptional caution is advised when positioning yourself in the map, keeping in mind hiding your massive hull as your top priority. The 25TP's turret is tall with a wide profile. Unlike the hull however the front of the 25TP's turret is sturdy for a Tier V medium, being able to bounce low calibre guns reliably. As such it is the only part of the tank that can be safely exposed when firing at a target. Adopting hull-down tactics is absolutely necessary to keep the 25TP alive and kicking in battle. All in all it is the worst medium tank at it's tier.
For all those disadvantages the 25TP has arguably one of the best 75mm guns at Tier V, surpassed only by the ones used by the VK3001H. It takes slightly longer to aim but this 75mm gun is accurate enough for sniping, similar to the one on the Type 3 Chi-Nu. The AP penetration is above average and APCR penetration is exceptional for a Tier V tank. You only need premium ammunition when the occasional Japanese super-heavies are in range. For everything else the regular AP ammunition is more than enough to punch through armor or weakspots.
Like the T-28 the 25TP excels as a flanker and a sniper. Engage enemy tanks from long range and let your teammates soak up damage that would destroy this tank. Seek cover and concealment, stay out of harm's way until you need to fire, and stay alive for as long as possible in the match. The 75mm gun lets the 25TP carry its own weight in any battle it stands to face.
