? | |info=The T30D1 is a further evolution of the T29, which was developed along with it. The prototypes went through trials until 1948, but the tank was never adopted for serial production. | | + | |info=The T30 Heavy Tank was designed to counter new German Tanks inhabiting the late 1945 battlefields of World War 2, also the "last breath in" of the Germany. Designed at the same time as the T29 Heavy Tank, T30 was fitted with a 155mm T7 L/40 Gun which fired shell and charge ammunition and was fitted with a powerful rammer to aid in reloading the gun. |

| | + | T30's suspension was designed to contend on any soil type, with its 8-road wheels to each side, torsion-bar oriented suspension and wide tracks it was possible. The chassis was powered by a Continental AV-1790-3 Series speeding the tank up to 16.5mph on a road, off-road not so much. The crew of the T30 included a Commander, driver, gunner, machine-gun gunner and 2 loaders. 2 Loaders were required because the 155mm shells weighted up to 98lbs each, one of the loaders managed the integrated crane to place the shells into position while the other loader operated the rammer to push the shells into the firing chamber. |

| | + | == Continued Developement == |
| | + | The T30 was also developed into a revisited variant of the old turret, naming it as the '''T30E1'''. It had a new hatch in the rear of the turret for the removal of the huge 155mm shell casings dropped by the gun while firing. There also was a prototype named '''T30E2''' and another variant named '''T57''' equipped with an autoloader. |

T30 was a tier 10 USA heavy tank. It was the thinness T10 tank (Same armor with T29) but it still have the heavy turret armor, more mobile in its tier and a very nasty gun rivaling the 152 BL10 on tier 8-9 USSR TD. Expect any tank to target the T30 as it is an easy kill for a Tier 10 tank. Play like a turreted tank destroyer so team effort is needed for this tank survival and to fully use the 155mm gun. This tank marked as the end for the USA Heavy tank branch.
