The Super Conqueror is a British tier 10 heavy tank.
A variant of the Conqueror tank with extra armor protection. Manufactured during the first half of the 50s and used for testing the Dart and Malkara guided anti-tank missiles. During testing, the vehicle played the role of a heavy tank that could potentially appear in the future. Never saw mass-production.
Replaced FV215b in 9.20.1 patch. The Super Conqueror is basically the Conqueror covered with very thick spaced armor. It is less similar to American counterparts due the fact that its hull can take much more damage, and it has capabilities to angle the hull which makes it much harder to penetrate. But, oddly similar to German Super-Heavy tanks, its lower plate is a weak spot and is easily penetrated if not covered or not angling your hull correctly.
The Super Conqueror marks the end of its British heavy line.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Outstanding gun in almost all aspects
- Strong turret armor, significantly improved when compare to the Conqueror's
- Great gun depression
- Large hitpoint pool
- Good viewrange
Cons:
- Low top and reverse speed
- Low per-shot alpha damage compared to most other Tier 10 heavy tanks
- Extremely thin hull rear armour, can be easily penetrated by HE
- Weak lower frontal plate, with the driver and ammo rack right behind it
- For its potential rate of fire, ammo capacity is somewhat low
Performance
The Super Conqueror is a logical development from its Tier 9 counterpart. Its main improvement is in its frontal armor (both turret and hull). This allows it to be played more as a standard heavy tank and less as a support vehicle or sniper. However, this should only be done in an emergency. The thin side and rear armour makes it vulnerable in close range brawls. Compared to the FV215b, which it replaced as the top tier British heavy tank, the Super Conqueror is a far more traditional tank and is less tricky to play effectively, though its viewrange, aim time and gun handling are slightly worse. Anyone who manages to get behind this tank should immediately load high explosives. The rear armor is only 38 millimeters thin and can be penetrated by nearly all HE and HESH shells.
On the other hand the Super Conqueror's own HE shells have great penetration, anything without decent armour, including some same-tier medium tanks will be in serious trouble if caught out of position by the SC's gun. This requires a good deal of knowledge of the armour profiles of other tanks to pull off effectively or you risk wasting a shot and alerting the enemy.
The Super Conqueror's gun is fantastic. The only bad trait is the low alpha damage (outclassed by some tier 8 heavies!) but in every other aspect the gun is superb. Aim time, dispersion, rate of fire, depression and soft stats are all excellent for a 120mm gun. Combined with one of the best turrets in the game, you have a gun that can do anything. The only weak spot is, unsurprisingly, the cupula, but its size is deceptive, as only the centre of the periscope is the true weak spot, everything else can troll bounce or is simply not part of the main armour. On top of that the cupula disappears entirely if you use all 10 degrees of depression.
The tank's infamous spaced armour is more than just a gimmick, its upper plate is far tougher than the 150mm on paper, plus the screens and side skirts on the turret and side respectively, render the tank very difficult to damage with HEAT and HE shells from the front, the side skirts especially can trick people into shooting effectively nothing but tracks while the Super Conqueror is side scraping, much like many Russian heavies with their own side skirts or the American heavies with their odd hull shapes.

Comes elite in its stock configuration.

Documented Tank and Crew Builds
Vertical stabilizer and gun rammer are logical choices. For the third equipment slot, one can either use coated optics (in order to play as a sniper tank), or vents for more traditional heavy tank play.

Proposed Improved Conqueror Turret
The turret of the in-game Super Conqueror is taken from an improved version of the standard Conqueror's turret that never left the blueprint phase. This new turret had the gunner's position moved next to the commander's in an enlarged cupola. In addition, the hatch to throw away spent casings were moved to the middle, right of the turret instead of the left, rear. The frontal armor thickness was 13.5 inches while the sides were 7 inches.
Conqueror Range Target
The more thickly-armored hull of the Super Conqueror comes from a single Conqueror that had 20mm of extra armor welded to the upper glacis. This tank also had 14mm Burster plates on the hull and turret to add as spaced armor, though it should be noted that all Conquerors were capable of having these Burster plates attached. Unlike the turret proposal, this tank was only ever meant as a target vehicle and was never intended to see combat.
Five handpicked T42 “Dart” warheads were fired at the Conqueror and the results yielded that the performance of the warhead on heavy tanks were “extremely marginal”. It did not produce much mechanical damage both on the exterior and interior of the tank. In order for the warhead to produce a “kill” (the British, at the time, defined ‘kill’ as the main gun being destroyed, no crew is available to man the main gun, or an immobilization), it would rely on ammunition combustion and crew lethality via fragmentation and burns. Overall, the British concluded that the T42 would make an effective weapon if the aluminum conical liner was exchanged with a copper conical liner. The single experimental uncapped “Malkara” warhead produced a kill on its single trial, though it was concluded that a single trial is not enough to determine the lethality of the warhead. After the tests, this uparmored Conqueror was scrapped.

Historical Accuracy Errata
The name "Super Conqueror" does not exist in any historical records, plans, or documents, and was frequently misattributed to the uparmored firing target Conqueror even before the existence of the Super Conqueror in World of Tanks.
- The turret and hull of the Super Conqueror were never planned to be used together.
- Furthermore, the uparmored firing target Conqueror itself was never meant to be used in combat.
- Historical HESH round with 152 mm penetration is missing.
- The armor-piercing shell is considerably weaker than in reality, with only 259 mm of penetration compared to the historical 361.
