The TNH 105/1000 is a Czechoslovakian tier 8 heavy tank.
In the latter half of the 1940s, the ČKD and Škoda engineers developed a joint project of a heavy tank for the Czechoslovakian Army and for possible export purposes. The TNH 105/1000 design was based on available concepts of German and Soviet tank-building and original ideas of Czechoslovakian engineers. In November 1949, the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia decided to discontinue the development of its own vehicles and switched to producing a licensed copy of the Soviet T-34-85 tank. All activity on the TNH 105/1000 was canceled. No prototypes were ever built.
The TNH 105/1000 leads to the TNH T Vz. 51.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Two competitive gun choices - a two shot autoloader or a single shot gun
- Nice two punch alpha damage of 640 with the auto loader with a decent intra-clip reload. Can catch many players off guard.
- Single shot gun handles well and has decent DPM
- Very fast for a heavy (50kph) with a decent p/w ratio to get it there
- Useable gun depression
Cons:
- Overall weakly armoured - big and weak lower plate, sizeable cupola on the top turret
- Upper hull only holds against equal and lower tier tanks - easily bullied by higher tier opponents
- Atrocious DPM using the autoloader of sub-1600, one of the lowest values for a Tier VIII heavy
- Alpha damage on both guns is unimpressive at 320
- Very bad accuracy and aimtime on the autoloader for a 320 alpha gun at this tier
Performance
A bit of a hurdle in the Czech heavy tree, the TNH 105/1000 is the first tank in the line to get two competitive gun choices, between a two shot autoloader and a single shot gun.
The autoloader is the main draw to this tank, as it’s the first Czech heavy to get the double tap that the high tier heavies get. It fires two shells fairly quickly after each other that deal 320 damage each for a total of 640. This can catch more inexperienced players off guard and is capable of nearly halving the health of equal tier heavies who get caught out, which is significant and can turn a flank. It is good practice to at least try this gun to get used to the mechanic before playing the Tier IX and X Czech heavies.
However, the quick 640 alpha punch is where the advantages end for this gun. It handles awfully for a 320 alpha gun at Tier VIII, it reloads slowly (25 seconds - a Bourrasque loads quicker than this with higher alpha damage for reference) and if you miss one shell the DPM goes from poor to downright crippling.
The other gun option is a very standard 105mm single shot gun. It handles much better than the autoloader and has decent DPM to boot. However, as this tank cannot mount a gun rammer your DPM is essentially lowered compared to other heavies at its tier. Whilst it may be the more comfortable gun to use on this tank, when using the single shot gun the TNH is outclassed by other single shot heavies like the T32, which fires faster, can equip a gun rammer and has an incredible turret.
Other than the firepower, the rest of the stats are unimpressive. The biggest advantage is the TNH is quite fast for a heavy and can reach early positions ahead of a lot of its competition. If using the autoloader this is especially significant as you can then dump your 640 clip whilst slower heavies are getting into position, then retreat as your teammates catch up. Your turret does have a big weakspot but when moving it can be hard to hit, so use this to your advantage.
The hull armour leaves much to be desired. The upper plate only holds against Tier VIII guns and lower, whilst the lower plate can be penetrated by anything it faces easily. Bear this in mind when pushing into opponents and don’t be careless.
Overall, the TNH 105/1000 sits in a funny position. The autoloader is fun to use however handles so poorly and reloads so slowly that it may not be the optimal gun of choice. However, with the single shot gun this tank just becomes a worse T32. Pick your poison, and don’t despair - the Tier IX tank is something to look forward to.
