Camouflage

Unlocked at Access Level 4, camouflage in World of Warships is a popular visual enhancement. Camouflage may be used by any ship.

Selecting Camouflage

A Captain may choose a camouflage for his selected ship on the "Exterior" tab found underneath the "BATTLE!" button, top center of the Port screen. All camouflage patterns must be re-applied after each battle; in some cases the pattern may require purchase.

Expendable Camouflage

Expendable camouflage is available to all ships in the game. Once applied and a battle fought, it is consumed and must be replaced. If there is more of the same pattern in stock, replacement is automatic. Otherwise, more can be purchased; enable "Automatic Purchase" by clicking on the button located at the bottom of the Camouflage list.

Permanent Camouflage

Permanent camouflage is available for purchase on tech tree ships Tiers VI–XI (plus a few lower-tier ships) and comes with all premium ships. Note that the cost listed is a one-time charge; the camouflage is re-supplied automatically and for free. For the first purchasable permanent camouflage on a ship, a discount is applied equivalent to the stated cost less the cost of the permanent booster, or variously 100 or 200  to purchase.

Permanent Camouflage is not lost if the corresponding ship is sold; when the ship is re-purchased, the permanent camouflage will be available to equip again.
