Hyūga — Japanese special premium Tier VII battleship.

An Ise-class battleship that was a further development of the Fusō-class warships with a different arrangement for her artillery. Heavy reconstruction during the 1930s resulted in the battleship having better speed parameters, stronger anti-torpedo protection, and more solid horizontal armor.

Hyūga first went on sale on 29 April 2021.

Performance

Pros:

Good damage output for a battleship with twelve 356 mm guns.
Better concealment than her half-sister Fuso.
Has a reload booster for the main battery, which provides devastating sequence of salvoes.

Cons:

The main guns may have insufficient firepower against heavily armored battleships she may encounter.
The secondary battery is weaker than Fuso's. Most of the guns are of smaller caliber with less penetration and damage.
Her armor is weak at this tier, citadel is long, ill-protected and catastrophic damage by enemy gunfire is likely if enemy battleships catch her broadside.

The recommended upgrades are:

Slot 1: Main Armaments Modification 1
Slot 2: Damage Control System Modification 1 
Slot 3: Aiming Systems Modification 1 *
Slot 4: Damage Control System Modification 2

Main Battery Modification 2 is a viable alternative, even with the dispersion penalty, because of the horrible turret traverse rate. PvE players especially should consider a secondary build here with Secondary Battery Modification 1 .
