The M14/41 is an Italian tier 2 medium tank.
The vehicle was an upgraded modification of the M13/40. The first tanks were manufactured in the summer of 1941. Unlike the M13/40, this vehicle featured a more powerful engine, and new air and fuel filters that were better adapted to harsh climatic conditions of Africa. A total of 752 vehicles were produced.
The Carro Armato M 14/41 features a good solid top gun, the best armor in class, middle-of-the-road mobility, and decent concealment. With the current revision of the Italian tech tree in 2023 and the retirement of the L6/40 to Collectors' Tanks, this is the first Medium Tank of the research progression line.
The M14/41 leads to the M15/42.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
Compared to other Tier II mediums . . .
- Good gun depression: 10 degrees
- Good DPM
- Large ammo capacity
- Turret and hull can bounce small-caliber rounds
- Tied for the lowest chance of catching fire, only 15%
Cons:
- The slowest turret traverse in class (but workable)
Performance
Underpowered tank, skip with free XP
Clearly, the guy who wrote the above did not have a good time with this tank. The slope of the front can sometimes produce lucky bounces but don't rely on your armor, especially when facing Tier III's. Side-scraping is possible. The top gun has decent penetration and damage. Stay back, provide second line fire support. Move in when safe. Don't camp all the time. Hull down tactics are useful, for this tank has good gun depression and an small, angled turret.
As of November 2023 the M14/41's crew layout -- Commander (Gunner), Driver, Radio Operator, Loader -- doesn't match any premium Italian mediums, but in a pinch you can use any of the five premiums as a crew trainer if you supply a gunner (the one from the Tier V P.43 is easiest to reach) and you're willing to leave behind your loader or radio operator.
Early Research
The stock suspension will support the top gun, top engine, and heavy equipment, pick two. Improved Hardening or Coated Optics (both weighing nothing) lets you mount both the top gun and engine; the Cannone da 47/32 is probably the best first choice so you can reliably pen H35's and other well-armored opponents. After you get the top suspension you can set up the tank however you like.
Documented Tank and Crew Builds
Improved Ventilation, Binocular Telescope, Improved Hardening, and a Turbocharger are all good options; pick one.
