The T-28E with F-30 is a Soviet tier 4 premium medium tank.
The T-28 tank with the 85-mm F-30 gun was developed in 1941. One prototype was built and underwent trials. Unlike mass-produced T-28 tanks, the vehicle featured different armament. No sources were found proving that the tank was mass-produced or used in action.
Released December 1st, 2015 for a short period. It is unlikely to see regular appearances in the gift shop.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Good penetration
- Good rate of fire
- Armor is improved from standard T-28, you won't get killed by machine gun fire
- Nice alpha damage for a tier IV medium (85mm HE shells are deadly at tier 4)
- It can carry a very nice amount of shells
Cons:
- Same 500 HP engine as the standard T-28, making it more sluggish because of the extra armor, loses about 10 km/h top speed
- Dreadful camouflage rating
- Increased armor is still pretty poor, though still gets occasional bounces
- Bad radio range (radio can be found on tier 2 tanks)
- Bad aiming time
Performance
Unlike the previous review posted here, I actually have this tank. This is a CLOSE-IN tank for one main reason: Terrible dispersion. If you are using gold ammo (everyone does), it will cost you a fortune in missed shots if you try and use this as a sniper. You HAVE to get in close to hit your targets. Otherwise, your shots will go all over the place. The reload time even with Vents and BiA, is a crappy 5.04 secs. Dispersion is .39 with Vents and BiA. Pretty bad. Aiming time is 2.67. Still bad, and you HAVE to let it aim fully for any hope of hitting the target.
Now don't get me wrong, with a decent team that doesn't camp like they do on the SA and EU server, you can really kick butt. Gold ammo rips the hell out of everything it hits. It's concealment is like the T-28...not good. But if you have cammo, throw it on. Can't hurt. Whatever you do, make sure you have SOME gold ammo with you. There is a likelihood you will meet tier 5-6 heavies, and you will need gold for that. If you can afford the tank, it's worth the $$. I paid $47 plus 10% coupon. So it came out to $42.71. It IS a fun tank once you get the hang of it's quirks.
