The UDES 15/16 is a Swedish tier 10 medium tank.

Further development of the UDES 14. The project combined the best elements of the UDES 15 (developed by Bofors) and the UDES 16 (developed by Hägglunds). The project became the main variant of traditional design for a Swedish tank, but later it was discontinued in favor of a variant with a remotely controlled turret. The full-scale prototype was built, and elements of the vehicle were used in subsequent Swedish projects.

The UDES 15/16 marks the end of its Swedish medium line.

Player Opinion

Pros and Cons

Pros:

- Hydropneumatic suspension; can utilizing more gun elevation and depression when moving at low speed (<10km) or stationary (-13°!/+25°)

- Tied with Chinese WZ-120 and 121 for highest alpha damage in the game for a medium tank (440), DPM is also respectable (2800)

- Insanely sloped frontal armor, the turret face is covered with 100mm of extremely sloped armor, can bounce many shots including some from high caliber guns

- Very high agility and traverse speed

- Very low profile, can using terrains and utilizing its suspension for extra protection


Cons:

- While heavily sloped, its raw armor stats is fairly thin; extremely prone against HE shots and SPGs

- Fairly slow reload time and average accuracy, any missing shots will causing drastic drops of its DPM

- Low penetration for premium ammunition

- Low gun depression while not using its suspension (-6)

- 10% fire chance is very deceptive -- very vulnerable to fires frontally.
