Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Very small size; smallest tier 10 tank in the game, very hard to hit while moving at full speed
- Expectional mobility and p/w stats
- High camo ratings and low profile; excels at passive scouting
Cons:
- Absolutely terrible DPM due to having the same rate of fire as a high-caliber heavy tanks
- Accuracy is on the below average side; any missing shot will cost a drastic drop to its already pitiful DPM
- Tied with FV4005 for the worst gun elevation in the game (+8), will have a hard time aiming at enemies at high places or when it's downhill
- Very low ammo capacity (20 rounds)
- Only had 2 crew members, high risk to being disabled by having all of its crew killed. Also different crew with different roles than the tier 9.

Historical Accuracy Errata
The Manticore's actual designation is actually the Chimera 1955. The fake name was given to avoid confusion with another existing tank in World of Tanks which were also named as "Chimera".
- The Chimera 1955 project was a tank destroyer, not a light tank.
- The Chimera 1955 project used an autoloader.
