The ShPTK-TVP 100 is a Czechoslovakian tier 8 premium tank destroyer.

Development of the TVP (general purpose tank) started in 1945. Initially, the vehicle was developed by specialists from the Military Technical Institute (VTÚ), but then the project was continued by Škoda. Later, at the request of the military, the company started working on SPGs (including tank destroyers) using the TVP chassis. One of the projects involved a 100 mm BS-3 gun mounted to a welded fully rotating turret with an open top. The vehicle was supposed to be very mobile, but no prototypes were built.

Player Opinion

Pros and Cons

Pros:

• Excellent DPM, penetration, aim time, and accuracy
• Has a fully rotatable turret
• Good overall mobility
• Good viewrange for a tank destroyer
• Good camouflage

Cons:

• Very poor armor, most HE rounds can pen it
• Low alpha damage
• Poor shell velocity
• Poor gun depression (-6 degrees)
• As the only Czechoslovak tank destroyer, it requires a dedicated crew

Performance

More or less a Tier 8 version of the famous T67, the ShPTK-TVP 100 is a mobile sniper, able to quickly relocate where needed and puncture enemy tanks to death thanks to its accurate, fast-firing 100mm gun. Having one of the better penetration values for a Tier 8 tank, as well as the accuracy to hit weakspots, it does not need much premium ammo to be successful and is therefore a good credit maker. However, it is currently the only Czechoslovak tank destroyer available in World of Tanks, and therefore requires a dedicated crew.
