Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Reasonable penetration and damage with stock gun's HE rounds.
- Very powerful top gun combining good damage, penetration and rate of fire
- Fairly small turret with good gun depression
- Good HP (seeing as it's the only tier 3 heavy tank in the game)
Cons:
- No armor to speak of. Even HE rounds from your own stock derp gun will penetrate for full damage.
- Hull surfaces are mostly flat- don't expect to bounce anything.
- Very slow and fairly large
- Front machine gun turret makes your gun need to point up to pass it
- Very weak ammo rack gets exploded often
Performance
The Type 91 should be thought of as a medium tank with a high hitpool, but lower speed. The second gun is very good at taking out same and lower tier targets and in high tiers can be focused on tier 5's.
