Commander Bio:
Born on Mars, one of the first human colonies, Beapley became tired of the terraforming station's claustrophobic corridors and traded them for the claustrophobic corridors of the spaceships.
During one of the voyages, her crew picked up a distress signal from a deserted planet. The broadcast was a trap; once the crew landed on the planet, they were ambushed. As it turned out, the planet was not deserted at all, but home to a parasitic species that attach themselves to their victims by pretending to be their friends, borrowing substantial sums of money and then disappearing into the night, never to be seen again.
Beapley survived the trap, but became so impoverished (and indebted) after the encounter that she had to turn to the Stellar Clash to get some cash (pun intended) and force the aliens to leave the Universe alone.
