Konventionelle Torpedos können alle Schiffsklassen im Spiel treffen. |

Tiefwassertorpedos verursachen in der Regel höheren Schaden und sind schwerer zu entdecken als konventionelle Torpedos, können jedoch nur Kreuzer, Schlachtschiff und Flugzeugträger treffen. Auf bestimmten Schiffen können sie ausschließlich Schlachtschiffe und Flugzeugträger treffen. |

Akustische zielsuchende Torpedos (auch Zielsuchtorpedos genannt) sind ausschließlich auf U-Booten zu finden. Beim Abschuss sind sie standardmäßig ungelenkt. Sobald ein U-Boot ein Schiff anpingt, steuern sie dieses unter Berücksichtigung der Zielvorhaltung bis zu einer bestimmten Entfernung an, die je nach Schiffsklasse variiert. Zum Ausgleich dieser Fähigkeit besitzen sie eine hohe Erkennbarkeit, eine geringe Chance auf Wassereinbruch und verursachen im Vergleich zu anderen Torpedotypen weniger Schaden. |
