Błyskawica — European premium Tier VII destroyer.
The most powerful destroyer of her time in Europe. The ship greatly surpassed rival navies' destroyers in terms of speed and artillery power. When commissioned, she had the most powerful AA defense among all destroyers in the world.
ORP Błyskawica is now preserved as a military museum ship in Gdynia, Poland.

Player Opinion
Performance
Usually called by her English translation of "Lightning" or simply "Blys" for short, Błyskawica is a stalwart ship that can fill the niche of a premium credit earner for aspiring destroyer captains. Sporting several 120mm guns in fast turning turrets and a reasonable set of torpedoes, she can either get into gunfights with other destroyers or perform torpedo runs on ships that are not wary enough to find her there when they least expect her to. Due to her ergonomics, she can be the invisible ninja that is reminiscent of what the Japanese Tier V destroyer Minekaze can do to other ships with successful torpedo runs or engage in gun skirmishes with American or Russian destroyers to surprising effect. Either way, this destroyer is a very balanced ship that can dish out the damage and rake in the credits.
LittleWhiteMouse's Premium Ship Review: Błyskawica from the NA forums
Pros:
- Surprisingly potent guns.
- Good chance of fire when using high explosive shells.
- Long firing range at 12km.
- Guns have acceptable turning and reload time, similar to Soviet destroyers.
- 15500 HP, largest health pool for a Tier VII destroyer.
- Good concealment; can fire her main battery guns and launch torpedoes from beyond her detection radius.
- Torpedoes deal sufficient damage.
- Friendly ergonomics.
Cons:
- Rather slow torpedoes with poor firing arc.
- Engines occasionally get knocked out.
- Turrets have a good chance to be knocked out.
- Weak anti-aircraft armament; main guns are not dual-purpose.
- Poor rudder shift time.
- Large turning circle radius.
- Torpedo range is within a few hundred meters of her detection range.
- The only Polish ship in game at present, so she can't be used for captain training.

Upgrades
Like most Tier VII destroyers, Błyskawica doesn't have a lot of flexibility in her upgrade choices. The best options are Magazine Modification 1 and Main Armaments Modification 1 in Upgrade Slot 1, Aiming Systems Modification 1 in Upgrade Slot 2, Propulsion Modification 1 in Upgrade Slot 4, and either Propulsion Modification 2 or Steering Gears Modification 2 in Upgrade Slot 5.

Camouflage
As a premium ship, Błyskawica comes included with Type 10 camouflage that lowers her detection radius, reduces the accuracy of incoming shells, and increases the amount of experience she earns.
